Financial Planning for Artists is a two-hour class led by Mark DiGiovanni, CFP. In this class, Mark will focus on financial planning guidance the psychology behind how people interact with money, concentrating on artist entrepreneurs with small budgets. Mark will discuss ways to change attitudes and mindsets regarding money to achieve greater financial success toward your goals.

How is this workshop different from other workshops?

Mark will focus on financial planning with the artist entrepreneur, and their goals, in mind. In particular, he will discuss skill and strategies most beneficial to artists with small incomes or on limited budgets.

More about Mark DiGiovanni, CFP
Mark DiGiovanni is a nationally recognized expert in financial planning. He is also the author of seven books on a variety of financial topics, such as the connection between wealth and health, how fear and greed destroy finances, and the role of money in connecting the secular and the spiritual.

Mark’s first career was as an Industrial Arts Careers teacher. He taught his students not just skills they would need to make a living, but also how to find success and happiness in their chosen careers. There he met fellow teacher Beth Rainwater, and they’ve been married since 1983. They have one daughter, Mara.

In the early eighties Mark left teaching to pursue a career in financial planning. In 1995 he founded Marathon Financial Strategies, the name a reference to his lifetime of running and a reminder that achieving worthwhile goals requires the same persistence and discipline as running a marathon.

Mark has been a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Snellville since 1989 and has been a Rotarian since 1996.

In 2010, Mark was selected by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards as one of the first seven CFP Ambassadors in the U.S. As a CFP Ambassador, Mark communicates to consumers the importance of personal financial planning and the need for a Certified Financial Planner professional. He has also been named a Five-Star Wealth Manager by Atlanta magazine in each of the last eight years.

Today, through his work as a financial adviser, author and speaker, Mark pursues a threefold mission:

Payment and Refund Policy
Full payment is required to reserve a spot and guarantee enrollment in all classes and workshops offered by C4 Atlanta. Credit Card payments may be made online through the registration form or through our online payment form at https://c4atlanta.org/pay. Checks should be made out to C4 Atlanta, PO Box 170319, Atlanta, GA 30317. Payment must be received before the first class session.

You may cancel your enrollment, without penalty, by notifying C4 Atlanta, in writing (via written letter or email), at least 10 days prior to the first class session. If we receive your notification at least 10 days prior to the first class session, we will refund 100% of the tuition, minus a $10 administrative fee; or we will offer 100% of the tuition as credit toward a future C4 Atlanta class to be used within the following three months. If you cancel your enrollment less than 10 days prior to the first class session, you will receive a 50% refund of the cost of tuition; or we will offer 50% of the tuition as credit toward a future C4 Atlanta class to be used within the following three months.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the first class session, C4 Atlanta will not offer any refunds. C4 Atlanta reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. We will notify you in case of a cancellation and we will refund 100% of your class fee. Membership fees are not refundable under any circumstances. The refund policy described in the above paragraphs is non-inclusive of membership fees.
